Exploring Arizona – Hiking near Gilbert Ray C.G

Although birds and wildlife are a treat, day hikes have become my main mission. Trails aren’t so elusive as wildlife.

Tucson Mountain Park provided! A walk from my campsite brought me to Brown Mountain trail, a 4.5 mile walk around the mountain near and on the ridgeline.

Early risers enjoy more
than just cooler temperature

A 6am start, (60°), had me finished by 9am and the temperature already at 75°. Today, again, having campground electricity, I used Lulu’s coach air conditioner for a lazy day after the rewarding hike.
