My friend Mike, from Seattle, stopped by for a visit to La Paz, enroute to his annual beach vacation on mainland Mexico. It was perfect timing, between the Lareto kayak trip and needing a few days to get Quijote looking organised again before Rod and crew returns.It’s much easier, and more fun to adventure and explore with a friend. We took the beach bus out of town, enjoyed wine tasting hosted by his B and B, tried multiple eateries, walked for miles searching for artistic (or any type), of note cards to send home. No luck. And, we sat outdoors and read books while the wind howled around us. It was a delightful time. Now, the work of provisioning and organising begins. Not complaining!
