Winter holidays in hot climates just doesn’t seem right. It’s not cold enough to wear a hat, let alone bundle up in a warm coat and mittens. There’s Christmas trees, piped in music and decorations. But the sun is out every day, and it’s 70 degrees!
I’m not complaining about the warmth, the sun feels wonderful! I’m just missing the festivity of the holidays in a cold, wet climate.
Fortunately it does get dark at 6pm. There are decorated boats in the marina, and I can play holiday music on Quijote, even if I AM still in shorts and T shirt!
